A little about me

I’ve been fortunate to live, work and travel in Vietnam for the last eight years. It is a country filled with kind people, beautiful places, incredible food and more memorable moments than I can count.

When I first moved to Southeast Asia, I arrived with an open mind and a willingness to experience life in a different way. I think that openness is essential when you decide to live abroad. Before settling in Vietnam, I spent time in Thailand and Cambodia, and each place shaped me in its own way. Choosing Vietnam as my home away from home has never felt like a mistake. It’s a place that continues to surprise me and give me a sense of belonging.

Over the years I’ve travelled, worked, explored, taught English to the most wonderful kids and slowly built a life here. Along the way I’ve collected stories, photographs, lessons and a quieter appreciation for simple moments. This blog is my way of sharing some of that with others. My goal is to create calm, practical content that helps travellers and digital nomads understand what life in this part of the world is really like. I write about places I’ve seen, things that make life easier and memories that matter, hoping it helps someone else plan their own journey.
